Programmed Learning
“Programmed learning” was based on the theory that learning is best accomplished in small, incremental steps with immediate reinforcement, or reward, for the learner.
As a math major in college, I overcame difficulties in my courses by acquiring “programmed learning textbooks” and using them to learn the subjects.
Then when I attended the classes it was easy for me to understand the instructor.
It was very difficult for me to do this by studying the textbooks we were provided.
However, the “programmed textbooks” made studying a breeze because they approached the subjects on easy step-by-step gradients, always testing my understanding with a question after each step.
And then, when I didn’t get a question correct, always sent me back to the right section of the book to re-study.
That way I never went past anything I didn’t understand.
And I always got instant validation when I demonstrated that I DID understand.
This method was also applied through the use of “teaching machines” and “computer-assisted-instruction.”
All the methods of application of programmed learning produced very significant increases in success.
With current advances in technology, and especially with the use of ExoTech and the technology of study, these results could easily be extraordinarily expanded.
Questions could be asked by images of people, cartoon characters, computer-animated characters, etc. either still or moving, audibly, or by words appearing on a screen or page.
This could be done interactively.
The possibilities are endless, even potentially including holographic talking images that are funny or entertaining in various ways.
This could bring a new renaissance of learning and understanding to the world, not only of the technology of ExoTech, but of ALL subjects, with the complete elimination of false data and censorship.
