Lost Technology
Although the advancement of technology on our planet has provided many benefits, it has also resulted in the loss of earlier technology and wisdom.
For example, Florence Nightingale (1820-1910) was a British nurse, social reformer, statistician, and the founder of modern nursing.
She made statements that today would be quite controversial:
“There are no specific diseases only specific disease conditions.”
“All disease is… more or less a reparative process…”
“Is it not… a continual mistake to look upon diseases as we do now, as separate entities, which must exist… instead of looking upon them as… the reactions of kindly nature, against the conditions in which we have placed ourselves?”
But today the art of nursing has become perverted to be largely a matter of administering toxic drugs with little or no thought of nutrition or other basics of health.
Closer to the spirit of Florence Nightingale is a statement from a unique medical clinic in Hungary that cures many diseases through diet alone: “The paleolithic ketogenic diet is biologically the most fitting diet for humans, the deviation from which is the cause of almost all chronic medical conditions.”
Before the advent of agriculture around 10,000 years ago, the diseases of today, including dental problems, were practically unknown.
Another genius who separated himself from conventional limitations was the famous inventor, electrical engineer, and physicist, Nikola Tesla, who stated the following:
“Of all the frictional resistances, the one that most retards human movement is ignorance.”
“All that was great in the past was ridiculed, condemned, combated, suppressed — only to emerge all the more powerfully, all the more triumphantly…”
“Today’s scientists have substituted mathematics for experiments, and they wander off through equation after equation, and eventually build a structure which has no relation to reality. ”
“The scientists of today think deeply instead of clearly. One must be sane to think clearly, but one can think deeply and be quite insane.”
ExoTech will put sanity and ethics into the irrational and questionable worlds of computing and so-called “artificial intelligence.”
