Declining Mental and Physical Health
The decline in the world’s mental and physical health has been described in public health literature for decades.
This decline has been especially pronounced among Americans, compared to people in other nations.
It is strongly correlated with declines in subjective measures of well-being. and increases in war, famine, and disease.
Strangely enough, human bodies evolved as predators (carnivores) for at least two million years.
Few people know that nearly all of the pesticides we consume in our diet are produced by the plants we eat. Plants produce these pesticides to keep insects and other herbivores away. When we eat fruits and vegetables, we eat those pesticides, too.
It is only within the last 10,000 years, with the appearance of agriculture, that the chronic diseases of civilization, including dental deterioration, began.
Agriculture also introduced carbohydrates as a planetary food addiction. And this led to a cycle of degeneration that resulted in diabetes, cancer, heart disease, etc.
Deviation from the biologically appropriate diet for humans is the cause of almost all chronic medical conditions.
A medical clinic in Hungary is currently reversing most diseases, including much “mental illness,” solely by returning their patients to this diet.
Many people have been able to come off psychiatric and other medical drugs using this diet alone.
But people often think this is unbelievable.
We live on a planet more or less hypnotized by the media and other influences.
So, people tend to resist unpopular truths.
