Computer Tyrants
An android is a fictional machine that looks and behaves similarly to a human.
An android, Brainiac, first appeared in comic books in 1958.
The name is a combination of the words “brain” and “maniac.”
It was created as a green-skinned intergalactic supervillain and continual foe of Superman.
A member of the “Anti-Justice League” and the “Legion of Doom,” it has been commonly depicted as being obsessed with collecting all knowledge in the known universe.
When the ruling “Computer Tyrants” on the planet Colu invented a ray that could miniaturize whole cities, Brainiac left on a galactic mission to steal alien civilizations.
He shrank cities to bottle size for preservation aboard his massive, skull-shaped spaceship before destroying their source planets, believing the knowledge he acquires is most valuable if he alone possesses it.
He was one of the early embodiments of artificial intelligence.
But, in his fictional career, his inability to see beyond pure logic was always his downfall.
This is vaguely similar to the current efforts of a few technocrats to use artificial “intelligence” to put the world’s population under their own centralized control.
The limiting factor of current artificial “intelligence” is that it is not really intelligent.
It is a stimulus response mechanism that cannot reason.
It can only react in a pre-programmed way to specific data patterns.
This is also true of all present-day computing.
Will we have something like the “Computer Tyrants” on planet Earth?
Or will we have rational computing and communication systems serving the people.
We are at a planetary crossroads in more ways than one.
The release of ExoTech could be the difference between a future dominated by “Computer Tyrants” and a future of happiness, freedom, and prosperity beyond what we currently imagine.
The difference could be YOU.
