A category is a group of things, often named or numbered, to which items are assigned based on similarity or defined criteria.

Both humans and computers use categories to think or compute.

Problems are often solved by separating the parts of each problem into categories.

Categories are important to sanity.

The process of reducing sanity includes a blurring or dissolving of the walls of separation between categories.

So items can move into categories where they don’t belong.

A dog can be placed into categories like elephants, human beings, and rocks.

Reducing sanity also includes the reduction of the ability of items in each category to interact with or relate to items in every other category.

This applies to computing devices as well as the minds of human beings.

It applies to all of today’s computing and is particularly noticeable in some of the errors generated by so-called artificial intelligence chatbots like ChatGPT.

These bots often generate very inaccurate or illogical responses to questions.

Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, wrote “ChatGPT is incredibly limited…” and “it’s a mistake to be relying on it for anything important right now.”

One of the breakthroughs of ExoTech is the discovery of a new way to put things into categories.

There are certain categories that all categories and all items in categories have in common.

This new system creates a far more logical and far easier way to store, find, and use data.

This also applies to functionalities.

A functionality is a useful process done by a computer application or program.

Examples of functionalities include web browsing, handling email, multi-media, and many others.

In an ExoBrain, these functionalities are all compatible with each other — they are all part of the ExoBrain.

This will replace the need for almost all other software.

All data will be easily shared with all functionalities.

All this, along with the elimination of the many crucial hidden irrationalities inherent in today’s computing, will make ExoTech a game-changer for computing and technology on planet Earth.

This new level of affordable, easy-to-learn, ethical supercomputing and super electronic communications will be easily available to the populations of the world, even to disadvantaged people at the poverty level.
