ExoBrain 31 Videos. I work in the IT field. I have since 1998 when I had to network my first set of computers to a series of digital printers and set up a Remote Dial-In server so that artwork could be modemed across to the printing facility, rather than being driven across town. I was always thrilled by the power and speed of computers. But sometimes I was dismayed at how hard it was to get them to do things. So, I resolved to learn how to program computers, so I could get better insight in how to make them work the way I wanted them to work. And that has taken me more than 20 years, and I still only know a fraction of what I should know. Meanwhile the insanity of the cyberworld rages on with daily system hacks, malware, breaches, ransomware, just to name a few.
Enter ExoTech and the introduction to real sanity. These 31 videos showed me, at least from an end user’s perspective, that there is hope for computer users and that computers can be used to generate income by the steamshovel full; meaning, they can do real work, rather than as some pretty plaything. And above all, that it can be simple.
