Alan Morrissett
Alan received a degree in Mathematics/Computer Science from UCLA, summa cum laude, with departmental highest honors.
Alan has extensive development experience across a wide range of software, including scientific processing, business applications, databases and data analysis, simulation, system software, graphics, and more. He was a team leader for development of the Space Flight Operations Center at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, which provides monitor and control for all US deep-space missions. He was architect and team leader for the “High Speed Simulator,” a spacecraft modeling system which was used to extend the mission of the Voyager spacecraft into interstellar space, which continues in operation today after more than 40 years.
